Sex-aids/toys ...
 

-- Most of us have heard and/or read that, in theory, sex-aids and toys are forbidden here in the LoS.; but that having been written some of us have seen them for sale - often in Chinatown.
- Today, 10 jan., evening I passed by a portable table, set-up nr. to Si Lom 4., with a big spread of such items and displayed quite OPENLY ; Dildoes at 8". & 9.5" long, also a Double-ended Dong! ;)

I think portable tables are the only place you'll find them.

Around Oct last year Pattaya's 2 shops selling sex aids were closed down by police as illegal and against Thailand's buddist ethics !

- Last yr., for quite some time, every evening such a table used to be set-up on Si Lom rd. o'side. BKK. XTN. HOSP'L.; but I've not seen it there of late.

-- As for PATTAYA: remembering last yr's. outcry, caused by the OPEN sales of porn. DVDs. wch. resulted in their removal, on my recent visit I saw that they're back again on the tables selling DVDs..

Whenever a new Police Chief is appointed in Pattaya there's a token sweep amid declarations of "cleaning up" Pattaya. Its probably part of setting new "rates" for trading . (T.I.T.) There was a uniformed police swoop (3 motobikes and a ute) on Dong Tang beach yesterday. They took away trays of prepared fruit and other food items but I think the DVD boys out-ran them :)

Were the bananas cut or uncut... :D

Definitely still had their pull-overs :)
