Have been thinking the same recently. Used to love Chakran and visited quite regularly 5 - 6 years ago. Although it was supposed to be Thai for Thai, there always seemed a bit of action for the rest of us. Now older and less trim, I wonder if it's worth another visit?

I am returning to BKK next month. Are there still live fucking shows at the 39 underground? Friends said that Chakran started to offer live shows too.

Which do you recommend?

How's the situation now at the Farose II ?
