"Be High" Sapphan Kwai
 

Anybody been there recently? Does Mr. Tong (tall , nice guy) still work there? I was there last time 2 yrs ago and now after having finished a ltime relationship I want to explore the S: K. area again. What about the other bars...besides Be High?? I always prefered this area to Soi Twilight, cause the boys were genuine , not pushy and...usually honest.

I think Be High now is the name of one of the many many new high rise apartment buildings which came up out of nowhere these last few years in Saphan Kwai

ฺBe High was stil there last November like most old bars / karaokes in the soi. The new building has obstructed the soi towards Phahonyothin so you can access the bar only from Pradiphat Soi 20 now (the small soi with all the bars).

I went to Be High about two months ago and I found it to be exactly like it had been described on this forum. I also went to the Adam karaoke bar. While Be High seems to be the only remaining go-go bar, there were plenty of karaoke bars in business.

I'm sorry, but I don't know about Tong. Hopefully you can go back soon and check out if he's still there!

don't tell me, let me guess - he has black hair and brown eyes, comes from Isaan and is a student at Rajabaht? I think I met his brother there last week!

I think most times the nicknames are issued with the jockstraps for dancing in! but with a bit more originality than Foodland - most of their staff seem to be called "Trainee"

When I was there 2 weeks ago about 11:00 PM (and again a few months before that) and there were 4-5 guys there, 1 with a customer the rest dancing or circulating - I was the only other customer, and while none of them identified themselves as Tong they were all certainly more friendly and more fun if off'ed then the Twilight regulars - but this is just the dregs we get access to, the best are off'ed earlier by locals by phone!

Now that's an interesting comment. I often wonder why they dont give out cards with phone contact and boys names - if you find a good one it would save the cost of buying drinks and tips and preumably the boys ask for the bar fee and pay mamasan the next day?
