GONORRHEA - a WHO. warning!

-- The World Health Org. has published a warning about GONORRHOEA:
- Reportedly GONORRHOEA has developed a resistance to the latest and 'Last Line of Defence.' Cephalosporins, the drugs developed specifically to combat it, by its ability to mutate rapidly into new & drug resistant strains.
- Reportedly Gonorrhoea is now the 2nd, most common STD. with some 106M. new infections annually.
- I can remember when a dose of 'The Clap.' was considered to be nothing serious: a shot of penecillin in the arse, some pills to take and advice from the Dr. to be MORE careful in the future summed-up the then trtmnt..
- Now, quite clearly, it's become an even MORE pressing matter for SAFE SEX.

There have only been a small number of cases reported so far, all in Europe.

-- I presume that you mean 'Cases that have become resistant to Cephalosporins.'?

-- I made but a cursory search of Google! to see if it had any up-to-date info. on the numbers of cases of Gonorrhoea in the Kingdom; but nothing statistically seen.
- However, one comment that I noted was by a Dr., who reportedly has plenty of experience in such matters, who alleged that the two most common complants that he treats are Diarrhoea & Gonorrhoea.
