A-Bomb (opposite Wild West) definitely has the most masculine. Most are straight, gay-for-pay, built and tatooed.

BBB has 50% muscle and 50% twink. With all the others if u r looking for masculine it's probably more "miss" than "hit" .

Sunnee is a shadow of its former self. Jomtien however is thriving with bars and "massage" popping up almost the full length of Soi "Venue" Many Cambodian boys reportedly happy to take 300 bt for short time!

"Happy " bar, Sunnee, is on the move. The current venue will close around 22nd Aug and it's moving to the old City Boys (next door to Eros.) I understand it will be re-furbished in the "Happy" style - so let's see! (I hope it still has a mezzanine floor - I've had so much fun there :)

It will be re-named "Sunny Boys".

Not sure what this will mean for the gay scene in Pattaya. Many bars didn't survive this low season anyway. It will just be another case of real businesses being closed while the internet (G.R.; Grindr etc ) take over :(

or as happens more often these days bars and massage places open but all the staff more interested in their mobile phones then in any live customer!

It's high season! and an interesting change is happening. As the number of aging farang queens in Pattaya diminishes (and the bars in Sunnee shut down) there is an influx of a new type of gay. Young affluent Asians from China, Vietnam and Malaysia who are just here for fun (but finding they are competing with a few thousand local boys.) Over the last few weeks I've had 3 great encounters with young Asians who contact me on Grindr or Jack'd, looking for fun and sex.

They speak better English than the Thais, have good bodies, and are horny as hell. "Young, dumb and full of cum" :) .. and even better, they are free!!

Yesterday I got a "Hi" in Jack'd. 24 y.o. Chinese, cute as - was just a few floors above me in the same condo! After relieving him of his load he thanked me profusely - said he'd had 2 days in BKK without scoring in Soi 4 or 2, so decided to try on line here. Happy days :)

Good to see Boyztown coming to life. I was last in Pattaya about 3 years ago (in January, peak season) and it was as dead as Julius Caesar.

..... meanwhile, Happy Boys (Soi Yensabai) has re-opened (hooray) while Happy Place (Pattayaland Soi 2) has closed (also hooray as they were charging 250bt for a beer and a pretty unattractive line up of guys.)

Happy Boys has pretty well the same crew as before, the mezzanine and 3rd floor massage rooms are still there, (I christened one of them last night) but down-stairs has been painted all blue and so far hadn't put back up the fairy lights and plastic trees so has lost a lot of its atmosphere. (Maybe they haven't finished the decor.)

Vassa is open again and there are plenty of cuties in the Boystown bars.

The wet season has finally finished- the sun is shining and the boys are hot :)

..... and in Sunnee Plaza, Good Boys seems to have new lease of life - about 30 twinks (all legal age) and plenty of farang punters. Took a gorgeous 22 y.o. last night - slim build, beautiful smile, nice upper body....... and thighs like a weight lifter :)

What on earth was a boy who fitted that description doing in Sunnee? From my experience the place is full of tattooed, pubescent anorexics. Things must indeed be looking up.
