Walked past the old Screw Boy site. All trace of a go- go bar has gone and the frontage is now just an open counter/bar . Another one gone for ever :(

don't give up on it quite so quickly, renovations are still underway on the bar inside

unfortunately however looking at the quality of the renovations it won't be anything like the old Screwboys when it re-opens, but the street talk is that while there is a new owner it will still be go-go and still be guys inside

and hey - surely if we all pull together we can drag it down to its old level again!

But maybe the old owner will re-open in another location, shouldn't be too hard to find another place somewhere in the same general area.

..... meanwhile in Pattaya another Sunnee slut venue , Krazy Dragon, is being converted into a beer bar. How much beer are we expected to drink with no eye candy to watch or toys to fondle???

there is a spare corner in the new Foodland supermarket, otherwise he often used to talk about opening a gay resort in his home town in Kalasin province ... the train service is fairly regular!

Well the inside go-go bar part of Screw Boy opened tonight (Friday)

your mileage may vary but mine ran out half way through the show! just as I thought it couldn't get any worse with the current bad wig drag queen slipping all over the wet and waxy stage (after the previous uninspired candle and soda shows) - at least she was appropriately "singing" 'I will survive' - I saw the next act emerge from the dressing room standing there waiting to miss their lighting and music queues like all the previous acts and decided to call it quits

while there were many familiar faces (unfortunately particularly among the mamasans) at 280 baht a drink and a motley crew of dancers to compliment the "show" I don't think I will be rushing back - but as I say your mileage may vary!

it was however packed - though they must have been handing out invites, there were some very "mixed" groups at some of the tables!

Two questions on the "new" bar; how much are they asking for drinks? And how many dancers do they have?

as I said drinks were 280 Baht - g&t (I think there was probably some g in there somewhere) and "black" soda, didn't see the price of a beer for one of the go-go dancers

new owners, so previous discount arrangements with mamasans (many of whom are still there) may or may not still apply, and again this was opening night so prices may or may not be more negotiable other nights

at about 11:30 there where 3 go-go dancers on stage, joined by 4 others just before the show started and I could see at least 3-4 others around sitting with customers - all in white briefs (the go-go dancers, not the customers!) - again this was a "special" night, not sure what the usual turnout may be

Oops, I didn't notice your mention of the price the first time around. Thanks! It seems like all the bars in that area, at least over on Soi Twilight are now asking for 280 baht , or more, per drink, and not inclined to discount that price. I stopped by Heartbeat Boy a few nights ago and asked the price and they told me 150 baht. In the past they have quoted higher prices and I was able to get them down to a lower price, but this time they didn't even try to gouge me! The choice of boys, however, was pretty pathetic. Expect for one or two straight looking guys with nice bodies, the rest of the dozen guys on offer were all prancing, flamboyant types. I drank my beer quickly and got out of there. Found much better selection, and offed one, at another bar on Soi Twilight. I must be getting old because I can't even remember the name of the bar, but it's located upstairs, on the left side if you are entering from Suriwong Road, next to the massage place with the pool tables. They were also charging 280 baht but had a good selection of boys and the mamasans weren't the usual creepy, queeny, annoying types that lurk over your shoulder. I'll be back.

.... and although not really sleazy, another BKK venue has disappeared. This may be old news (as I don't often venture around Sukhumvit), but Turning Point host bar in Soi 23 has also turned into an apartment block. :(

... which shows how infrequently I'm around Sukhumvit ! However some-one should tell "Dreaded Ned". They're still listing it in their current 2013 guide which I checked before I went looking for it!

Happy Bar (Sunnee Yen Sabai) is introducing "facilities" upstairs on 2nd floor for short time "massage". 300bt fee. First floor still available for messing around.

Has anyone else visited the "new" Screw Boy this month? Wondering if it was worth a visit or not. I went by X-Size again last month and they had a good variety of boys. But I hate that 280 drink price. I took a cute one home. He had a nice body and was versatile, but very strange. My hunch is that he was on drugs of some sort.

Also, any reports on Super A recently. I don't like their new downstairs location. Too cramped and not as "grope friendly" as the old upstairs haunts. Plus, what they had on offer the last time I visited (about 2 months ago) wasn't that tempting.
