saunas update
 

My third visit to Sukhumvit soi 78 and Safe House on a Friday - I was the only customer all night. 2 visits to Mind sauna soi 48 Sukhumvit last visit just my partner and an Australian. we left at 10pm. The cleaner boy seemed disappointed when we arrived at 8pm. An early night in the offing.
Chinatown cinema - last Sunday, first visit for months,not much happening unless you like very old guys (I am 53!).
GG sauna - renovations in process!!! wow after 20 yrs. Had 3 3somes. Obviously this is not Sauna Manie territory but guys are pleasant and willing.
Sukhotai sauna- went on a wednesday 2 weeks ago and there were only 5 or 6 guys. Went the next saturday - 50 or more! I could not believe it. The desk guy also spoke english well. Apparently they own Cruising Sauna in CM. The 50 guys were all friendly, again we are not talking great lookers but who am i to say. Free drink like most places.
Saw the party and long show last saturday at Male Box in Rama 2 soi 57. The show goes so long that there isnt much time for sex but friendly crowd.
Menfactory still has the worst show i have ever seen. Think I will give that place away. A visit to Heaven was good as usual.

also Bangkok 10- last time I went there was no steam downstairs, no spa, no naked zone, no show.Hardly any guys. Maybe in the throes of closing?

it's sad to hear that bangkok 10 is going down the drain. i guess the lack of parking space was it's downfall to draw the locals. i'am just wondering about what shows are you referring to?

for at least 2 weeks they had a foam show with some very nice guys in the spa. It was advertised on their fb site. They seem to have 10 or so regulars in the karaoke room. It is more popular with the after work group rather than a weekend crowd. General maintenance and the desk guy improved but now too many things are broken.

I seem to have an obsession with searching out minor saunas. But I give up on safehouse soi78 sukhumvit. You had to put up with dogs, awful traffic due to construction in the middle of the road (extension for bts??) And the fact that no one goes tgere. Tonight a guy came in for 10 mins and rather rude guy I had seen before. After me doing oral for 15 mins not even a word of thanks. Very nice set up but in the wrong place. A joke or smike or some thing might encourage customers but .... will try again later in the year. Mind sauna had a dozen or so tonight.

Dejavu last night- over 100 guys watching a "show" (this is not your average drag show, but full on fucking show) then the actors (staff) disperse upstairs where the customers can take place and have sex in front of the crowd. Very athletic. Thursday nights. I think the other nights are just naked. A fair way out but if you like upclose fucking then could be for you.

any direction to dejavu? is there a bts/mrt near the place?

there are about 40 in greater BKK, much more as all in the rest of TH, so you still have something to do!
Go to gayscout, it has maps and directions (use them to look for closest by rail) and intends to show them all and regularly update. Just take taxi, buses and all that are for christian etc.-so that others can make the pun of it.
Notably Thai aimed are much more busy weekends (thats fr and sat) as weekdays.

BTW- you mentioned also the new RUSH in Sukh 48/2 to open soon, is it all new or does it replace the old MIND? Like HiJack used to be (forget already).

There is no sign of a change at mind. A bit of action would help that area.

CM- Cruising Plus (part of the Cruising Sauna chain) out near G star vintage club on Chotana Rd not far from Super hwy. Again, first visit only me and an American. This time a gorgeous young man wanted a long long bj which I gave to him. Not many others. Maybe they get late crowd from the bars. The other bad point is that I could not get a taxi or tuk tuk back to the hotel at 11pm. I had to walk 5 kms until a nice boy picked me up and gave me a ride on his bike for the last km. How do people get around in CM late at night. One Seven naked night. Crowded but not action filled like Dejavu in BKK.

A question on Dejavu -- I am not clear what it is really -- is it a full sauna? And when does the Thursday show start? What's the entrance fee?

yes, full sauna with steam and sauna. Many cubicles. I think it was around 200 baht but it could have been cheaper. Shows start around 9pm on ground level then move to upper levels. Thursday - naked inc staff who put on the shows and most other nights are naked too, check

Last night had some success at Mind Sauna. Still only a few there. Rush Sauna is advertised to open in next soi. Renovations still going on at GG. A little bit of light would help when I stumble down steps. Dejavu great last week.
