i remember tasting some of the hottest cock imagineable 4 - 5 years ago i met on here...i don't think i've had a single reply in the last 2 years...did this site just dry up?

It's pretty much the same all around.

The way I see it, places like CFS that have registration and permanent profiles tend to have fewer posts these days, but get more "real" guys who are actually serious about connecting. Craig's List, and the more anonymous sites get tons more posts, but have a much higher proportion of bullshitters and scammers.

YMMV, but there's still a good amount of action to be had here if you're patient. It also would help if guys who score here spread the word.

I get about two cocks a week via Craigslist. I also have about 7 guys a week from Craigslist say "I'm on my way" and never show up. I even give my phone number. I'm starting to wonder if someone just sits around making up new "stats" just so he can get a kick out of making someone sit around waiting for an hour. I can usually get some cock on gay.com, though it's not my preferred niche of straight boys who are on the downlow.

Think about it: With both YouTube - and more importantly X-Tube - guys ain't leaving the house as much, especially when they can wank off to XXX videos all day or night....add in the usual fear or flakiness of guys on the internet, and it's easy to cum up short! (Ahem...)

As for Craigslist, I can almost guarantee that a large chunk of those posting are completely bogus - the person is bogus, and the pix posted are fake. You can spot the postings that have similar words and phrasings and pix that are just too hot to be real.

And I've never seen so many "Bi guy with girlfriend out of town" bullshitters in all my life!

I agree with the above...CL (all talk, endless email...no action), AFF (Adult Friend Finders) seems to have taken some of the members...for example, the old chat room (before the current one) seemed to have a since a "community"...with quite a few guys talking/hooking up. I didn't even know the "new" chat room was up...and there hasn't been many guys there....personally, I think it's better than the AFF chat room.

Anyway, hope things change and more people come back.

It's sad but true...
 

The CFS updates are very slow too. The mods seem to have either no time, or no interest in updating the site.

I'm in total agreement. I used to have a fair amount of luck here in setting up hookups, but then things slowed down. Same for M4SN. :confused:

Switched to CL, had lots of fun, but lately it's been flake after flake after flake. I really don't understand how they get their kicks out of just sitting there for hours on end stringing people along. What a waste of a life... :rolleyes:

Aw well...gotta' keep looking & responding to the message boards & PM/emails...these things seem to have a life of their own...and hopefullyCFS may start on the upswing (or maybe not) soon.

I have had some hot hookups with guys in the past from the message boards and still look almost everyday to see if anything is going on...you just might get lucky! But that being said, I'm not waiting around either...

Here's why Craigslist can be THE worst and most frustrating place to try and hook:

The internet is anonymous as it is. Anyone can lie about who they are or totally play games with pretty much no accountability.

Well, multilply that by 1000 on Craigslist!

Anyone can post, there's no profiles to check, and the first email you send, you have NO idea where it's going.

And I've come to the conclusion that 90% of the posts that say "NO PIC NO REPLY" are phony. And there's guys there that demand EVERYTHING but give NOTHING
(ie, no info or stats in a post, but asking for stats and pix from us!)

Or every time you post your ad, the same 2 guys ALWAYS respond. Even if the wording is practically the same with every ad. It's like, if you don't get a response from the same posting after a hundred emails to them, why can't you take a hint? Unfortunately I can't find a way to block email addresses from my gmail address, so I just sit there and delete. Some of these people were emailing me responses 5 years ago and they're still sending the same photos and replies.

It's called too many guys letting others get away with flagrant BS, but turning around and bitching at website owners for being control freaks and the like for having rules on <i>their</i> sites to make it harder for bullshit artists to run amok.

Online cruising/scoring isn't a "have your cake and eat it too" proposition. Far too many guys can't cope with the reality that the same responsibilities and obligations exist online as in realtime. It also shouldn't be rocket science to figure out if your chain is being yanked.

I have dealt with this so many times. I now have a seperate E-mail just for those kinds of things.

Online cruising can be productive, but I find sex in the 'real' world of clubs, baths, and parks much more certain to end in 'relief' for myself and at least one other human being!
