DC Guys Happy Hour
Several guys have asked me about reviving the regular happy hours I used to have back in the CompuServe days. I would love to do it again, since I really miss the kind of comraderie we used to have.
So. I'll toss the idea out here. Who is in/around downtown DC who would like to get together after work at some respectable joint for drinks, munchies, good conversation, making some new buddies? It would be a weeknight during the usual happy hour window of 5-8PM. Gentlemanly behavior and discretion absolutely required. Someplace nice, like Town and Country, JW Marriot, Willard, Beacon, or Urbana. No attitude, no posing, just men who would like to unwind after a day's work with like-minded men. Please post your comments here in the thread. |
If it is a 'respectable joint' will they let our esteemed moderator in?! How about that lovely bar where the former gov of NY was fond of hanging out. When I was there earlier this year, I was struck by how obvious the call girls were.
Seriously, though, I'd love it if we could plan one of these during inaguaration week which is also leather week because I'll be in DC. |
Town & Country at the Mayflower? It's amazingly easy to score guys there (I wrote about one encounter a few years ago on the Dirty Stories board). The working girls can get pretty aggressive sometimes, especially if they see guys connecting instead of patronizing them. :D
Not sure what I'll be doing for MAL or the innuguration yet...I've had a business function out of town that weekend the last few years. I've been hearing rumors that if Obama somehow loses, there could well be huge protests and civil disobedience actions here to disrupt things. Let's just keep our crossable parts crossed that Obama wins and we really have reason to celebrate! |
I'll have to search for that posting of your sex encounter at the Mayflower. I certainly got the feeling that sex was hanging in the air in that lovely, wooden room. Especially if you had money.

There was no money changing hands in any of my connections there...cash and carry just isn't my scene. I just have a weakness for the classic, handsome businessman type. ;)
