I've just read your last post about Tawan bar. I had a great time with Wichai, I'm not sure it was #11. I come back in Thailand at the end of summer. Do you know if #11 is Wichai ?

I think the amount of tips expected is the same. For me its minimum 1,500THB and goes higher to 2,000 THB if he "makes my day". The only difference now is that you can "push the envelope a bit". I'm really horny for #53 now, though I have to caution those reading my post that, I am not sure if there was some "chemistry" between us when he offered to smoke "au naturel"...

Personally, I'd rather get more for the same amount. Although I believe that I can get away with less, I'd feel more like a winner if I got more for the same buck. Somehow I feel that I've exploited the situation if I was satisfied and only gave 1,000THB. You will know... If you gave less than normal, they will look at the bill, and keep silent for a while.

FYI Tuay and Wichai are the same guy. From what I know he's totally top. For an overnight - if he's even willing - 2000 would be absolutely minimum. More like 2500 or 3000. I would think he'd be hesitant to do an overnight with a new customer. And sometimes isn't able/willing to with an old customer.

What a load of rubbish and arrogance. Plenty of other nice fish in the sea with reasonable expectations of tips.

There are plenty of very hot boys without attitude on the outside pick up areas who offer (their offer) to do time service for 500 and overnight for 800 - 1000, and most of them are quite polite and no attitude.

Just to clarify, the rates I quoted are my assumptions; they are not quotes from Wichai.

I based them on the fact that from a place like Tawan, for a guy like Wichai, 1500 is pretty much a minimum for short-time. Overnight would then be substantially more, i.e. at least 2000.

I also know that a lot of the guys don't really like overnights for a variety of reasons - don't know the customer, have a vehicle parked near work they don't want to leave overnight, have to go home to wife/relative, want to chill out after work, sleep in until noon or so then go to the gym, are preparing for competition with a boiled chicken diet and have to eat before they go to bed, etc., etc. Therefore, a high (obviously exhorbitant to some customers) fee.

Of course it surely depends on how hard up one happens to be for cash at the moment. With business slow as it is now, I'm sure some of those 'discounts' written about above would be possible.

Linga - I think I'm with you. If you want to be raped by a hairy muscle man (well, maybe not so hairy in this case) with a near perfectly proportioned body it's going to cost a bit more than what the street has to offer. And he might just have a little bit of attitude.

Sextile - thanks for the reminder on street-boys and AYOR. I was a bit surprised also to find someone holding them up as a legitimate comparison with bar boys.

BTW - those who know Wichai/Tuay would agree, I think, that he's a very nice guy. He's been at Tawan for something like 5 years and has a pretty steady clientele.
