Tawan Bar - Reviews?

Mea culpa. I was young(er), foolish and just couldn't resist all that hot hard meat being paraded around so lasciviously...*sigh*...besides, the occasional good experience led me to believe that if I searched (and offed) enough, I might find Mr. Right.

I know, I know. Looking for Mr. Right in a muscle gogobar isn't exactly the best testimony to any intelligence I might claim to possess...*sigh*...but like I said, I was not quite as old or jaded back then. And I hadn't been to LOS quite often enough yet...

Similar poor experience with unresponsive guys from Tawan but also had one of the best experiences with a married guy from there one had a young son. He stayed a few nights with me a few years ago and was really tender and loving, sadly was not there when I went back last year.

I know what you mean about an unexpectedly lovely surprise turning up where you least expect it. My best Tawan experience was with a quiet guy who seemed too inhibited to be much fun...luckily, he had the kind of large, dark and lusciously lickable manbuds I simply cannot turn down. Suffice to say that while he might not have been the most enthusiastic performer on the stage, he was certainly uninhibited once the hotel room door closed behind us.

The best thing was that, as an amateur bodybuilder, he was one of the few men able to do it in two positions I absolutely love but seldom get to enjoy because few of the men I have ever met had the physical strength and flexibility to do so...*sigh...he wasn't there when I went back a couple of months later and I never saw him again. But isn't that also typical of the really great guys at any bar?

Whatever gave you that idea? Oh no, the positions I am talking about have nothing to do with hanging (either by the arms or the neck, thank you) but they do require a certain amount of physical strength since I am far from svelte or delicate myself.

Hi, Sextile. A friend told me that recently due to some police checks the shows in Surawong has been toned down. I read in another forum that some go-go bars in soi twilight were affected. There is no nudity and also the sex shows have been changed to more sexy dances.

Can anyone confirm this, and is Tawan affected in the same way?

Usually how long does it take for the shows to go back to being more "normal"?

I don't entirely believe it is due to police pressure. Same low season last year and the year before that, the bars too suspended their "leave nothing to the imagination" shows.

I suspect it is a cost-saving measure. The bars do pay the performers a stipend each time they do those shows, and during the low season, they might want to save costs.

Come high season at the end of 2007 and 2008, the shows came back in full force. Either police pressure quite fortuitously lifted when high season kicked in, or it was just economics.

On the other hand, the stipend is minuscule. How much can they possibly save? So maybe the police had something to do with it?
