- First drink at 300.Bh., thereafter just 280.Bh.. With no Schweppes 'Manao soda.' avail. I had to make-do with a whisky & water;
- On arr'l. possibly another 30 or so others therein; I was shewn to a seat stage front and one row back;
- At that time the men on stage were wearing small & black mini-briefs for the most part - just transparent enough to give an eagle-eyed spectator some idea ... ; just a few were wearing pouches made of thicker mat'l.. Soon after 10.05.hrs. they removed their mini-briefs, bunched them in an hand wch. they held-over their assets;
- To these olde & jaded eyes most of the men on stage are approaching maturity and their sell-by dates; possibly only #12. & #20. are on the younger side - the latter especially so: a shyer young man - certainly not a pretty-boi & eye-candy - who held his other hand over his back-side;
- Hse. lts. dimmed around 22.40.hrs. and some 5 mins. later the first act began - 1st. three acts were of the muscle-men posing & shewing-off their bodies;
- Then followed the more or less expected turn of acts for such a place: fortunately no Chantoosies, katoeys, lip-synchers and such-like. Equally no Big Cock Show or Bold show - the nearest being a rather tired seeming Jack-off act. There was a certain amt. of discreet nudity, and several acts involving youger men 'Smoking.';
- By the end the place was full enough without having to bring-out add'n. seating.
- No smoking of ciggies.; bkgd. music the usual & meaningless noise with emphasis on a base beat - but not too noisy for such a place. From time-to-time announcements made over the usual & LO-Fi PA.system. Several screens shewing hard & homo. porn..

An avid tawan fan had told me that tawan has moved into a single show format even on weekends, that is why they are now starting at a later time of 2245. For me this is a bad decision as no punters will stick around for the boys' staring blankly in the mirror after the first show.

He also mentioned that the drink prices were up, to 280. I guess they further hiked the price to 300 to match the bbb group. This will definitely Affect the waiters' tip.

He commented that those in shape were offed multiple times. So best be there early, or you might off a man who cannot come. :-(

i dropped by bangkok on my way to my final destination. unfortunately did not catch their anniversary show. arrived around 10pm, saw a calendar being sold outside with the masked tawan men. the pics are too small to appreciate, add to that, the masks were not worn properly. so what could have been a sexy pose came out like muscled clowns. they should have just had 1 guy posed every month and removed the head or have him pose so that he will be un-identifiable.

went inside, the bar was around 50% full (it was a weekday), did not see the full monty - i guess since there was not much customers. attention was immediately gotten by number 8, kop. not sure if he is a new guy, but i don't remember him from the previous visit. the rest seemed to be in their off season. i saw the small nop came in dressed in street clothes and wai'ed his colleagues but later went left the bar. i was told he got a sponsor, so he no longer works. i guess he was just visiting friends.

just before the show starts at 2245, i saw wit, one of the smaller muscled guy which a crystal stud earring come in the bar. i ask him to come over, and later learned that he just came from an "off". i guess i was the the late bird, so decided not to off him even though he seemed eager to go with me. but when i asked if he can come, he shyly said he cannot since he was too tired with the preparation for some competition.

then the show started, nothing to write home about. same same. then i saw tong, who was in street clothes and was sitted beside a farang. tong was the last of the really muscled guys i saw in tawan. his muscle shape showed even under his clothes. did not notice the two of them when i entered, so not sure if they came in after i arrived or if they were there all along. he got such small lips, it makes his face like an anime character - cute.

i then noticed one farang who was really enjoying the muscle show by wit. really showing appreciation by loud clapping and all. after the muscle show number, he seemed to be stalking wit, but not asking him to sit with him. after the show, a thai customer asked wit to come sit with him. then the unthinkable happened. this farang guy went and sat facing the thai customer, who was currently caressing wit's abs. this is the first time i saw such blatant voyeurism among customers. this farang has his back was to the stage, and was facing the customer and wit which was sitting back and center. later, the thai customer offed wit. so rumours are true, these boys do get multiple offs per night, as long as the customers do not expect them to come.

as the crowd thinned down, a senior asian guy was smoking in the premises, not in the loo as previously been the rule. i guess the no smoking policy also depends on the number of customers, just like the second show. some of the guys that are not so muscled, but still buff and offable are actually the more mature ones, like porn (the handsome fucker in the fucking show), the bigger nop, and a new guy, quite bulky but not really muscle. he had a buddha necklace and bracelet that he took it off before we discussed quantum physics in bed, i guess as a sign of respect for the metaphysical. =)

meyhkin physique's is still ok. still not muscly, i guess the GH has worn off from last year's competition. big nop has the best physique among those that are not competing. chancai, from what i gather is starting his preparation, which is kinda admirable as he just came back to bangkok as his home was flooded - he showed me a video in his cellphone after he got some time out with the farang.

chancai was offed later that night. the next night, i spent my time in bbb groups show. after around midnight, i saw mehkin with his girlfriend in the bar/restaurant in soi twilight. big nop was not offed during my visit which was a shame.

I've been to a few anniversary/special nights and they had lucky number tickets and a 'lucky draw' give away of umbrellas and caps. It went on FOREVER as they had to do it in English and Thai and then keep calling numbers until customers would come forward to collect thei umbrella.....excruciating!
