Had very enjoyable nights at both Male Box (near Rama 2 Central) and Heaven. I am 55 and chubby and I am always amazed (and delighted) that if you show a smile and do not play the important farang then there will be Thais who want to play. The 3 guys I met were all muscled studs. No mention of money, in fact it has been years since anyone wanted money when I have been ay sauans, including Sansuk in Pattaya 2 weeks ago.

actually, when I think about it, please do not go to any of the "local" saunas. Please stick to Babylon if you are a farang (I don't want competition and I would rather be the only friendly, smiling, chubby foreigner there)

Me again. I don't think much of the Saphan Kwauy cinema. I know it is 4 years since my last visit but it was soooo dark that it was difficult to move around. Ladyboys are not my scene and they seem to dominate there. Will have to try Chinatown and Hawaii cinemas. I went for a walk to Soi Elizabeth Hotel but found Adonis sauna (went there 20 yrs ago) closed and locked. Elizabeth hotel in a time warp from 1980s, all dark wood and I am sure original fittings. Had some sort of conference with all the Thai men wearing what to me were scouts scarves. Could not see any remains of Pradipat cinema. I went there (in 1980s when my eyes were better, I guess). Last visit ended with snarling dogs stopping me in the soi. It was really cavernous. At least the films there gave some light but the one today had a kind of negative quality so that it threw little light out to the seating area.

afternoon at GG sauna. Chubs, daddies and their admirers. Run down but nice guys. Not waiting for long to link up. Have not been there for many years. Crowd thins out rapidly around 7.30pm

i believe bangkok10 might have the same clientele albeit with a more up to date surroundings. stone's throw away from sheraton by the river if you are staying there.

Gaya sauna near Ratchyotin, very swish. Like a mini Chakran with quite a few guys on Wed night. More Thai Thai but I was lucky (always helps to smile). They have mostly naked nights but on Wed they have "dragons" poking out from a shower and many customers helped to play with them! Walk further along Phaholyothin from Cineplex on same side until you get to Sena centre on soi 37, it is one of the shops there. The manager spoke good english and everything is shiny and new

when I was at bangkok10 early one Sunday evening recently the crowd was mostly chubby older and dissapointingly virtualy no cubs/chasers! but they do advertise a special night on Fridays for this crowd so maybe worth a vist then!

venue is OK - rooftop terrace is great, steam room large and subtle lighting so potential for some action, hot pool is a bit too exposed to be interesting, cubicle area as dark as you would expect, karaoke as bad as you would expect (if you are a falung) and the "movie room" was showing a cooking show - at least it was fried rice rather than sticky rice!
