I'm guessing that's a typo for "Wat Pho". It's mainly night-time cruising and mainly of a commercial nature (although very reasonably priced: 500 baht seems to be the going rate).

The area is bounded by Wat Pho, the Interior Ministry, the river, and the Grand Palace. Plenty of short-time hotels in the area, but caution is advised (carry no more money than you need).

Speaking of this part of town, is anyone else familiar with "Ban Ba Ju" ("Auntie Ju's House)-- one of the oldest and most secret cruising spots in town? I was in Bangkok for 10 years before discovering it...
