I am curious as to what you pay for a massage at Smart Bank in Bangkok.
I went in there once and was told by a snotty maitre d' that you couldn't have "just a massage", that it had to be coupled with one or another of their "beauty treatments". The simplest thing he could offer me was a massage and "milk bath" -- for something like 900 baht.
I thought this was a bit silly (not to mention expensive) and was so turned off by the maitre d's attitude that I left and have never been back.
Is this standard, or have things changed?
