Most of the fluid comes from your prostate gland. The longer you hold off ejaculating, the greater the amount of fluid. Or, if you are really turned on sexually, you usually get a little extra. But if a guy tells you he can cum buckets, well, he's fibbing.
Now what kind of weirdo does this sort of measuring? Well, one of the parameters I get back from the lab after ordering a semen analysis is volume. The guys are told no ejaculating for at least 3 days before the harvest, then they beat off in the lab, and it all goes into a plastic cup. Nurse Cratchet will then determine the time it takes to liquify from the starting jelly state to the runny state (3-5 minutes on average), Then the volume is measured (3-7ml is normal), then the wigglers get counted.
