I'm sure the porn industry has adopted many codes to guide and regulate itself. However, the codes have no legal standing from an enforcement point-of-view.

As for what (content) is depicted in a porn video, it is the marketplace that drives what is produced. The very same economic laws of supply and demand which apply to all markets also apply to the porn industry. It all begins with the consumer -- YOU.

As a consumer in the porn marketplace, what (content) you want to see depicted in porn videos is almost limitless. The actors you see in the professionally produced porn video are real people. When you see these actors fucking, it is the real thing. You see a hard cock penetrating the ass of another guy. You see a hard cock being sucked by another guy. You see a guy rimming the anus of another guy. You see a guy shooting his load of cum onto the face of another guy. You see many depictions and variations of sex in a porn video.

There still is a market out there for porn videos that do not show actors practicing safe sex. Again, it is the consumer in the marketplace that drives demand for these videos. Barebacking porn videos are still in high demand today -- by consumers just like yourself. And to make certain that the supply of barebacking porn meets this high demand, there are plenty of amateur videos sold in the porn market to meet that demand.

The professional pornographers know that if they don't produce barebacking videos to meet the demand, they will lose a percentage of the porn video marketshare to amateurs and their profit margins will be reduced.

I apologize for the Economics 101 seminar, but it is just as relavant to the porn industry as it is to producing automobiles, cell phones, and designer condoms. The bottom line is the porn industry is consumer-driven by the same economic laws of supply and demand.

Here is something for you to consider. It was not too long ago that the entire pornography industry was a backalley 'blackmarket' subculture economy. Today, the porn industry is a legal market economy worth tens of billions of dollars. This also means governments (local, state, and federal) are receiving revenues (taxes) from this legal industry.

What code practices the porn industry has adopted for itself are mainly for the safety of the porn actors. However, as recent events have revealed, the porn industry has a few occupational hazards that can undermine the industry as a whole if the porn industry doesn't regulate itself. If the porn industry fails to regulate itself, you can safely bet the farm the "government" will.
