This is actually a great question and something that I had wondered myself, until maybe a few months ago. In fact, I am quite sure I posted something here and mentioned that new porn didn't "allow" barebacking. I'm surprised no one caught that because it is absolutely incorrect.
I think I was under this impression because a) almost every movie I've seen that was recently produced featured condom use and b) I had noticed that little disclaimer on movies which states something about the video being produced either before or after a certain date and then lists a certain legal code. Apparently, whatever this code describes, it has nothing to do with barebacking. I'm guessing maybe it has to do with the legal age of the actors?
While supply and demand are absolutely an integral part of the story here, there is one major porn company out there who has recently decided for themselves that they will ONLY make safer sex films and will also not allow ANY actors to appear in their videos who have EVER made bareback movies. This would be Titan Media, and I say "good for them." Their new policy is causing some controversy in the industry, though. The thing is, with rare exception, Titan films are by far the best I've ever seen. The production quality is outstanding and the sex is incredibly hot -- and technically "safer." The actors are nothing to complain about, either!
But yes, I've run across lots of barebacking films lately, and indeed it has become a HUGE selling point. Even though I can't support wanton "promotion" of unsafe sex, if viewed as a fantasy or fetish or just enjoyed "from a distance," I have to admit -- a few of these features can get pretty steamy. While you can find barebacking in old porn, quite obviously the production values are low and the quality often stinks. What's interesting, at least from my particular viewpoint, is that one film I saw had a scene with a whole group of guys having a bareback gang-bang and swapping partners back and forth. This really turned me off. The guys were hot, the sex was hot, but I saw all this as reckless and dangerously scary -- so I couldn't get aroused by it. But that's just me, of course. Even though it was a fantasy scene, it didn't work for me because I translated it to my real life and I'd be afraid of being involved in that. I couldn't make the leap into just enjoying the fantasy of it all. However, another scene in the same film showed two men simply making love in a motel room. They talked to each other and seemed to care about each other, yet it was just "filthy" enough to be extra-erotic. THAT scene I liked, since it is more in line with what I'd enjoy in reality. But then again, bareback or not, this is probably how most of us view porn anyway: what turns us on in reality is probably also what works best on the screen, though there are guys out there who can easily enjoy a fantasy and dispense with it in real life.
Anyway, just go to an ABS and look alphabetically through the films at the "B" section. There will be tons of bareback stuff available.
