I have a buddy that has a scrotum the size of a grapefruit. It's not pretty and it's hard and appears to be full of some kind of fluid. He sees a doctor that measures it every few months and tells him it's no big deal. I can't tell you what it's called but it's not contagious.
Then again maybe you're running into guys that are into injecting saline into their nut sack. Some of the same guys that use pumps on their dick and balls are also into injecting.
