While I'm not posting to be recognized as "decent", I had to chime in and say I also believe in the absolute rule that outing anyone is just plain wrong.
I wrote about an experience I had in NY two years ago with a television personality and was inundated with emails calling me a liar because I wouldn't give up the person's name. Fortunately, even emails accusing me of being a fake and a liar could never diminish the incredible time. It wasn't just because he is a T.V. hunk, the connection was much deeper and soon that facade of pseudo-reality melted away.
