That's an interesting and informative post Butch, especially the last paragraph. I guess indifference is really key here in this issue and could be applied to many problems we face when it comes to all health issue's our culture faces constantly.
On a lighter note, it could be applied to the fast food industry being under fire. Consumers demand more for the dollar and they provide it, hence the film Super Size Me.
I however have no solid idea's on what would solve the problem in the porn industry that would keep the actors safe but the posts here have given me things to think about in regards to the issue.
