I was impressed by the modern high way system of Malaysia , and I had a pleasant and comfortable bus jurney from KL to Penang .
But you have to choose reputable and reliable coach company to travel ( there are so many coach companies run between KL & Penang )
The problem is , if you arrive in Penang at very early hour , you cannot check in a hotel yet according to the local gov. lows ( P'Tao is an expert on this , I guess )
This is the big difference between Thailand and Malaysia .
