You've already taken the 'first step' before making the leap into this culture of men having sex with other men. By communicating to us you have an interest, the 'next' step is communicating that interest to other men to make it happen for you. Sounds easy, right? Well, perhaps not so easy for the uninitiated or the first timer.

For some men, it is the fulfillment of a sexual fantasy that motivates them to make the leap into this culture of men having anonymous sex with other men. Sexual fantasies are vivid erotic images in our minds. These fantasies are the safest sex a person can have and still derive some sense of satisfaction or gratification. For some men, it is not enough just to have these fantasies in their minds. They reason that making their fantasies happen with another male is sound ... logically and practically. For 95 percent of males who are mentally and emotionally receptive to male sexual activity, it is logically sound and practical. For the first timer or uninitiated, the logical next step is making contact with another receptive male.

You've already indicated you are not into the club or bar scene because you're worried about being seen by somebody that you know. This is probably the number one stated reason why many first timers are not into the club or bar scene. It is reasoned that being seen in such clubs or bars would pose a risk of exposure and thereby undermining their anonimity. But, is this reasoning sound? If being in a club or bar is guilt by association by reason of a person's very presense in such establishments, then what does that mean for every person in such clubs and bars ... including those who might know you by some other association such as a co-worker, a neighbor, or even a family member?

Still, if going to a club or bar is something you're not comfortable with, it is probably less likely you would be more comfortable going to a more public place or venue such as a public park restroom, an interstate rest stop, a mall public restroom, or any such place which might facilitate cruising other men for anonymous sex. These public facilities do have their own risks and sexual activity at these venues is usually 'At Your Own Risk' or AYOR for reasons of personal safety and security. So, if these public facilities are out of the question, there is always the notorious Adult Book Store video arcade area which does offer some privacy and anonmity, but is still not without risks either.

So, what is left if none of the above is an option to making the "next" step? There are the Fitness Centers which seem to attract a number of men who are similarly interested in sexual activity of some sort with other males. Most of these facilities have sauna rooms which can facilitate the meeting of similarly like-minded men. Do keep in mind that while such fitness centers are chock full of males, not all men at these facilities are cruising for sex with other men. But, the ones who are interested will do a lot of eye contact and will express their interest with lots of nonverbal communication. But, if this doesn't appeal to you, then where else can you make contact with similarly minded males?

There's always the online internet contact which might serve your need for anonomity and a comfort level in establishing contact with someone ... anyone ... who is willing to help you make that 'next' step relatively safe ... and hopefully a most pleasurable experience. As with any advice you receive on this website, do keep in mind we have the practical experience of cruising other men for sex, and most of us would be remiss by not mentioning there are always RISKS associated with cruising other males for sex. Anonomous sex doesn't have to be risky, unsafe or dangerous provided you carefully weigh the associated risks and use your best judgment at all times.

There is nothing wrong with making your sexual fantasies come true so long as the 'next step' is not a risky, unsafe or dangerous misstep. With careful and thoughtful planning and an honest and realistic assessment of your risks, the next step can be a wonderful and most pleasurable experience.

Happy hunting, keep your wits about you, and have lots of fun.
