Man's Country has a website. I don't know the address, but just google the name and you should be able to find it and get the basics on their prices and membership fee, which I don't remember because I haven't been there in a long time.

Which brings me to the reason I haven't been there in a long time. You'll get differing opinions on the place, but I personally find Man's Country to be a dump. It's in a couple of old, run-down buildings. The carpet smells. The shower areas have visible mold. The private rooms have narrow "beds" on which it's almost impossible to get comfortable with two people. Some of this could have changed since I last visited 5 or so years ago, but the occasional updates I read on this site would indicate otherwise.

The layout is the same as any bathhouse: long hallways lined with private rooms where guys keep their doors open while they show off their wares. It's two floors, plus the basement, which has a big wet area, with a sauna and whirlpool.

There's a big open area on the second floor where they have strippers perform after midnight on weekends.

The clientele is more diverse than Steamworks. Because of the leather bar next door, weekends see more leather types there. This has always been the place where blacks tend to go, particular the "Down Low" types, who mostly walk around in their street clothes as if to make it known that they're just visiting Homo Land.

You should check it out for yourself. If you don't like it, you can be at Steamworks in 15 minutes.

The only other baths in Chicagoland is the Sibley Courtyard Inn in Hammond, IN. They also have a website (again, google to find it). It's a motel that essentially functions as a bathhouse. I've never been there.

The other bathhouse in town, Man's World, closed last fall. It was right down the street from Man's Country, which led to a lot of confusion. Anyway, condos are being built on the site now, so that should end the confusion.
