Question Topeka arcades?

I hadn't been to an arcade for quite a while, and last night I was horny enough that I decided to go see what was going on. I live an equal distance away from the ones north and south of town, but I decided to try the ones up north first.

--I drove by AEC on N. Kansas Ave. but there were no cars out front and there weren't any signs on in the window. Are they closed down?

--I then went to the place on N. Topeka Blvd. and there were a couple of cars out front so I decided to go in. I'd never been there before and it seems like they've got a decent arcade. No action, so I left when my tokens ran out.

--Then I drove out to the arcades on S. Topeka Blvd. I always mix-up the names, so I'll call 'em the one on the north and the one on the south. The one on the north is always empty (and they've got a shitty arcade), but the one to the south had a couple of cars in the lot. I went into the store and tried to buy some tokens, but they asked to see my I.D. and I didn't have my wallet with me. The woman at the counter said that it was store policy that everyone had to have a picture I.D. to enter.

So my evening of checking-out the arcades was a big failure. It seems like the arcades are always hit-and-miss, and I don't know if there are any busy times for any of them. I definitely went too early last night, so maybe things pick up at night or on Friday or Saturday nights. I'd love to hear other people's opinions of the Topeka arcades, or even stories about your favorite arcades.
