-- Y'day., (18th.), evening I supped in DICK'S. CAFE. (Soi Twilight: off Suriwong rd. - pos'n. roughly 100-31-54.E.x13-43-52.N. - about
a score of us therein.), before walking-along the Soi to
FRESH BEACH BOYS for their
Fourth B'day. Party.
-- ETA.:
21.45hrs.;
- Adm'n.:
300.Bh. to incl. 1st. drink;
- Quite full, with about
20 seats reserved for favored guests; so I sat stage RIGHT and on the back row of raised seats.
- About
20 R&F. boyz of varied types from adequately muscled to Twinkie; although none caught my eye.
- Hse. lts. dimmed at
22.12hrs.;
- I sha'n't detail the individual acts, save to note that we were spared the usual Candle & Flour. paint shows. However, we were forced to endure the mindless blather from a couple of v-a-s-t wimmen who acted as
commeres; I would have compared them to she-elephants, but that would be to malign grossly those most sagacious and useful mammals.
- About
15 boys for the
Man of Silom competition - most of whom I'd describe as delectable pieces of eye-candy -
phwoa! #3. and
#11 caught my att'n.. The compet'n. dragged-on interminably -
OMG!; interspersed with
chantoosies who lip-synched and dramatised way, way OTT. and various other acts, incl. a
b*ld show carried-out behind a
chantoosie and in the shower-area behind thin curtains - that I lost all interest soon enough.
- Several spectators, mostly wimmen, were smoking ciggies. - ugh! I noticed, when I took-off my shirt, prior to taking a pre-bedtime shower, that it stank of nicotine - just like in the bad & olde days before the ban on smoking in such places.
- Either side of me I had men chewing gum, about as interested & as interesting as cud-chewing bovines; well, at least they weren't upsetting the
Eco-conscious Greens by eructating the dreaded methane gas that I could detect!
- The whole perf. finished at around
01.30hrs..
-- I think that that was the last time that I'll be attending a b'day. party in Soi T'light.:
