-- Y'day. evening, (06th.), and at my suggestion, my middle-aged, enthusiastic & American friend who's been living & working here in BKK. for several yrs., (and thus is no newbie.), went to -
SALADAENG MASSAGE.,
- addr.: 30/4, Saladaeng rd,
Silom, BKK. 10500.;
- loc'n.: roughly behind DUSIT THANI HOTEL;
-- NB.: not same loc'n. as former INDRA MASSAGE;
- BTS./MRT.: Sala Daeng, (S2.),/Silom;
- tel.: (02)-236 7422.;
- web: OFF-line;
- One masseur sitting outside, four others inside giving foot-massages; space was so cramped that the 4 masseurs had to move closer to their customers to allow my bulky friend to pass-by.
- My friend chose a 60mins'. & oil-massage for 360.Bh..
- My friend gave me to understand the folllowing -
-- The massage room was just big enough for the standard sized massage table & enough space for the masseur to walk around: 'Grungy.' was the word used - the walls, which did not reach up to the ceiling, were stained etc. etc..
-- Masseur - Khun Art. - early 20s.?; I-San; spoke a certain amount of basic English. Removed clothing without being asked: small but neat body & small manhood.
-- Massage was but so-so, say 4/10.;
-- After the massage it took the masseur a long time to achieve an erection and just as long to produce any result.
-- After massage a shower in the common shower-room along the passage, wch. at least was clean; only one & small towel offered.
-- My friend gave an over-generous TIP., (in my opinion.), whereupon the masseur threw his arms around my friend, kissed him enthusiastically, thanked him profusely and asked him to come-back tomorrow!
-- Downstairs the other masseurs pressed my friend to return again soon.
-- In terms of decor., layout and general customer-appeal etc. my friend reckoned that S'DAENG. MASSAGE is even MORE DOWN market than say SUKOTHAI: cramped, poor maintenance, grotty and so on. He will not be applying his 'Three strikes' rule.'.
-- E&OE. as the above is based upon my u'standing. of another's report.
- The masseur's name is not in my Address Book, but I have some faint recall that Khun Yannawa recommended a certain masseur who was working there and who was there still when I looked-in several months ago and was given a Business cum Loyalty Card: 10 visits qualified the customer for 'FREE 1 Hour.'. I don't know if that holds good still?
