Tarntawan Place is quite well appointed, not overpriced by U.S. standards, and very convenient to Patpong and Soi Twilight if you and your guests don't mind the guests' having to deposit their ID cards with the elevator attendant. Some people think that's a fine security precaution. Some guests, especially prouder or middle-class ones, have been known to resist on the ground of privacy. Free wi-fi. Apparently gay-owned.

Another very convenient and fairly affordable place is Saladang Place, which rents spacious though sometimes slightly run-down serviced apartments with great views right behind the Dusit Thani Hotel, near the corner of Saladang Road and Silom Road--convenient not only to Patpong but also to the skytrain station. However, it may be a problem to bring in guests. Wi-fi at a moderate charge. Apparently not gay-owned.

Both places definitely charge more than Malaysia, Pinnacle, or Om Yim--maybe two or three times as much--but depending on your budget and your priorities, they may make up for it in convenience and amenities. On the other hand, plenty of people find the cheaper places adequate.
