I was at Tawan twice the last week of April. They were open normal hours of course since it was before the curfew and disbursement of the Red Shirt camp. However, they had little business due to the police and military presence in Silom at the time. They did not offer a show either night I was there. They explaned to me that the boss had to pay the dancers to be in the show and with so few customers, paying the dancers would be a money losing propostion. The guys were friendly and fun, but no show. They had many handsome men on the nights I was there. Most I had not seen before. Was looking forward to seeing them in the show.
So, when you return after the curfew, if you are going for a show, beware they might not have one for awhile until some more business returns.
