I think there are several such karaoke bars in Pattaya, quite popular with female Japanese and other female Asian tourists., and definitely not welcoming to gay males.
It's always interesting to watch the reactions in "gay" go go bars when women are in the audience. The "straight" boys are always quick to smile and gesticulate to the girls, so its pretty obvious what their preferences are, and I can discount them as candidates for my affection. Personal preference, but I find gay boys usually more passionate and enthusiastic than straight or "haa-sip haa-sip" Thai guys.
