I've stayed at number 8 which is located in the Bukit Bintang area. Gay friendly, definitely some gay staff and good value. If you choose to stay in a dormitory it's just 3o ringgit per night. If you want a large room with ensuite and the usual hotel facilities it's 135 ringgit per night. They have free wifi too! (

It's gay friendly....in fact they seem totally disinterested in what you might be getting up to in your room!
