- We went to DONGTAN BEACH every day except for wednesday,10th. when the weather looked to be extremely uninviting; otherwise it was mainly o'cast. but with occasional break-throughs of the sun; saturday was surprisingly sunny & hot;
- I'd say that, bearing in mind that we're in the depths of the LOW season, DONGTAN BEACH was all too quiet: both for us mainly
farang visitors - I'd guestimate that until sat. our concession, (opp. TUI's.), was approx.
30%. occupied, but on sat. a'noon. it was nearer
50%. full - and for the numbers of young men selling khun Poon's donuts, ice-creams, DVDs. and such like; quite a fair number of
masseurs/massueses available. V few young men from the various a go-go bars seen - quite a shortage of eye-candy, in fact.
-- My E&AF. and I expect to return between Xmas. and the NY., in fact we've reserved our hotel's rooms already!
