regardless of what I might think about Thailand's lese majeste laws this guy was born and raised in Thailand and as I understand it he recently re-entered Thailand on a Thai passport though he also has a US passport so "American sentenced to prison" is perhaps a bit self-serving and sensationalist.

I am not and never have been a Thai citizen but even I know that doing anything with Handley's book is going to get you into trouble so why did he come back to Thailand and put himself at risk if he is not just after the publicity? he doesn't seem to be a serious crusader about changing the law!
