Took a walk up Soi VC (going to Soi Yensabai to visit a friend). Couldn't agree more with Biggles. Its not only Sunnee.

A large building is being constructed opposite and the Thais, ever safety conscious, have strung a sturdy piece of shade cloth between ex-Howards and the new one. The shade cloth is now ominously laden with orange and football sized chunks of jagged cement which would have fallen directly on to the alley...

The most surprising development is the extent of the Hookah Cafes on the LHS going up. Filled with young men and women smoking Hookah pipes and watching the decadent world go by... I know there is a large one on the corner of the entry into SP. How long before they move right in. LOL
