OK I understand that for many Babylon may not be such a hot suggestion any more, but for first or second time visitors it is probably still a better option than some of the more difficult to locate local saunas, and even for experienced expats that have some Thai skills and know their local area some of the local saunas will still be a challenge to find and to have some success in

maybe I am just not the adventurous type but the idea of trekking for miles by two buses and a taxi and a walk to what may well be a fairly ordinary local sauna with a handful of not very interesting (or interested) customers and very limited facilities and then face even worse options for getting home again is not my idea of fun

the original poster does not have much info in his profile so maybe he is an expat or experienced visitor or a blond Adonis who has already tried and is bored with both Babylon and the local saunas in the Sathorn/Silom area, but if not there are I think a number of places in the local area worth checking out first before making the effort to trek out to a sauna in a sub-sub-soi off a sub soi off Sukhumvit Soi 71 that most taxis are not likely to find and has a mosquito infected pool area and limited other facilities and the clientele I will leave it up to you to decide!

as I say I am not that inclined to waste my time and your mileage, success rate and enjoyment of local saunas may vary!
