If he meant toilet stall - you made the right choice.

From what I understand most of the showers are now a small private room which would be fine - I don't think there are many "open showers" at the truck stops anymore - but there could be few.

I am more concerned about people seeing two guys going into the stall. I think that would generate a lot of concern. We have to be careful and not get caught.

Good point. I was only thinking about embarrassment not risk.

Although there are a lot of truckers who will play around for some "relief" while on the road - there are also a lot of very closed minded ones who would have no hesitation to make trouble.

Always better to be safe than sorry.

The best way by far to hook up with a trucker is through the CB radio. They all tell me to give the mic a couple of clicks on Channel 19 and don't say anything. If someone clicks back, just tell them to go to a different channel. Get to the new channel and you can talk, but be careful about what you say. Just set up your location and have fun when you meet. I don't have a CB radio, so it is harder for me.

That's funny - I wondered if CB radio was still a thing for truckers.

"Breaker Breaker good buddy - bend me over at exit 43" LOL

Lol.. I have been looking into this for quite some time now. All the postings, which are current, say to use the CB as the best way to hook up. I found a phone app that will supposedly let you use your phone like a CB. Haven't downloaded it yet. Not sure if it would work, since the cell phone doesn't transmit a CB radio signal. It would have to connect to the internet and then a repeater tower would have to broadcast. Who knows where the tower would be located, lol.

I have a cb and a scanner for those channels...mostly silent...a relic of the past!
