Just got back from the Puente Hills 24hr You are right on when you say the facilities are great However this Saturday afternoon most were Asians and very dull. Is there a time when the real studs hit the steam room and suana for lower bod workouts

I've heard that late at night (after 10) is when the cruisers/strokers/etc. come out. Based on the location of the club, yes, there will be a lot of asians there.

Does anyone have any info on any of the 24-hour fitness clubs in the Manhattan Beach area? Interested in locations in and around Manhattan, Redondo Beach areas up to the LAX area.

The Hermosa/Manhattan Beach 24 Hour Fitness on PCH and the El Segundo club on Rosecrans both seem too busy for any action and the layout of the locker room is not cruise-friendly (maybe I went at the wrong times).

There are reports that the 24 Hour Fitness near LAX on Century is getting better right after work when all of the guys get off...so I might have to check that out.

There is always the health club at the Marriott, but I haven't been there since the 1st week of December.

Since I don't have to work tomorrow until 10am, I will check out my local 24 Hour Fitness in WeHo.

Bally's Long Beach - Traffic Circle
 

The Ballys in Long Beach is fairly cruisy. The sauna & steam are off of the mens lockeroom. There's often a crew of cruisers. I've had good luck there and sometimes take my "new friend" to the parking structure for more fun. :)

There's a nice mix of white, latin (my favorite) & asians...a hand full of sexy black men go there too. Ok, there's one black stud there that drives me nuts - and he knows it...very hot!.

Later in the evening on weeknights can be fun...also the usual weekend afternoon/evenings.

There are a lot of "daddy" types at the 24 Hr Manhattan Beach (on Rosecrans). It is very busy in the lockerroom and there is an abundance of male nudity. The steamroom is situated in the back between the shower stalls (3 on either side) and since it has a glass door you can actally get an excellent view from there watching the men enter and exit the showers and drying themselves off. I went there one day around noon and all the businessmen there were changing, walking around with their dicks swinging and taking showers after their workouts. If daddies and 30+ men are your thing, this is the gym to go to. However, be aware that there are a few granddads here on some afternoons.

If black men are your deal then check out the 24 Hr La Cienega. It seems to be a very hetero gym and I don't know how big the cruising scene is, but the eye candy here is phenomenal. Also, 2 of the hottest white guys I've seen at any 24 Hour Fitness were here as well. The workout floor and cardio floors are really nice too - big windows where you can look out over the city.

24 hr LAX is my regular haunt and you get a nice variety of guys here. Great lockerroom with TV's, cleanliness, mirrors, roomy lockers and an ultro-cool shower setting lit with blue lights -- showering here makes me feel like I'm at a night club or something.

24 Hr West Hollywood is a lot of fun and a nice place for exhibitionism because you know the majority of people here ARE looking. The lockerroom setup is really nice and I like the fact that you have to walk a bit to get to the showers if you're using the huge lockerroom floor below. I love sporting my naked body and meat here and like the fact that there are boners in the shower. However the thing this gym REALLY needs is to to employ some cleaning people to work here on a regular basis and scrub the fucker down because it can be a bit skanky, especially for all the traffic here. And the parking situation SUCKS big style -- so coming here really has to be worth my time and money. It's a shame 24 Hr doesnt give its members a better deal on parking because $4.00 for 2 hours is a total ripoff.

I've only been to the Hollywood Arclight gym once and would like to go back again. From what I remember there were a LOT of good-looking 20-something guys here.

I have not yet been to the Santa Monica or Beverly Hills gyms. Is there any more info on these? No one seems to talk about them much. And has anyone been to the Sherman Oaks location?

hey guys, quickly scanning the million or so posts on this thread, couldn't tell if there was info on cruisy gyms near West L.A./Santa Monica Airport/Mar Vista area... joining in the next week or 2 and would appreciate knowing which will be the most fun;)

Mascitalian....I read that one of the 24 Hour Fitness locations in Santa Monica is cruisy. I don't think it's the location near the studios since I checked it out and it was not cruisy at all.

I'll be in Anaheim/Garden Grove the first weekend in Feb. What is the best gym to go to for cruising? Anyone want to meet up for some fun?

Also, who has some advice for those of us who have a membership at 24-hour but for only one gym. Do we have to upgrade our memberships or are there some ways around that? Do you just pay for a one-day pass? Can you get a discount on the one-day pass?

I find that the clubs that have men only suana can be active in lower bod workouts. I have had workouts in Yorba Linda, Anaheim or Orange clubs. But it is always hit or miss. Ocasionally I did get steam room work out at the sport clubs which have coed facilities. Any way maybe Publicsex has more info since he get around a lot.

I just recently joined 24 Hr. Fitnesss and I went to the West Hills one and there definately was nothing going on there.... well when I did go into the men's room there was a HOT bear standing by the blow dryers drying himself off... he stood there forawhile but then left... but besides that there was nothing.

I'm going to check out the Simi Valley one to see if anything is up there...

This 24 Hr. is very close to my office and I was wondering what the lockerroom set up is like. Someone mentioned the steamroom has a glass door so you can see the showers, but

are the showers open or are there curtains, stalls, etc?
is the steamroom/sauna nude, or are suits required?
does the gym provide towels for showering?

I've been considering going, but I do have some qualms about possibly running into a co-worker while I'm trying to get some steamroom cock!!

the El Segundo/Rosecrans location has one large locker room and a dry sauna (nudity is ok) that is across from the showers.
It gets busy after work on weekdays, and it was just as busy when I checked it out on a Saturday afternoon.

I'm going to be in the Anaheim/Garden Grove area next weekend. I've heard that the 24 hour on Lincoln is a good place to go as well as the LA Fitness in Fountain Valley. Any comments on those places? Since the West Hollywood 24 Hour Fitness Sport is closed for a few days for renovations, they are allowing members to go to the others locations in the area.
Hopefully when they reopen, the leaks in the men's locker room and the nasty carpet in there will be replaced.

I went to this location around midnight tonight and i must say the setup is pretty good. There is a sauna at the very end of the men's locker room that has a glass door that looks directly into the showers. the shower is a small cramped gang shower with no partitions and only 6 shower heads that is perfect for eyeing cock in the shower or sauna. So. the 24 Hour Fitness closed for 3 days last week for remodeling, and as far as I could tell, nothing was fixed. Men's locker room still smells (and not in a good way), the carpet is nasty and the showers all still don't work properly.

I went yesterday at about 11am and it was busier than I thought it would be (I guess everyone working out or playing before the Super Bowl) and saw signs posted that men must now wear swimwear in the "wet" area (showers, sauna, steamroom, jacuzzi). I only noticed about half of the guys paying attention to the signs and didn't see any workers trying to enforce it.
Bathing suits in a men-only locker room and showers? What's up with that?

LAX 24 Hour Fitness update: as always the guys here are the best looking and this is the cleanest facility. Afternoons are nice. there's a hot, strapping Jethro Bodine type guy who always showers and exhibits himself in the lockerroom around 1:30-2PM weekdays. Saw a couple frat buddies working out on the floor and practically got a hard-on when they both walked into the shower area with their dicks flopping. Also a hot latino guy with a nice body full of Mexican tattoos and a thick uncut dick. I have yet to come here at latenight hours to see if any action is going on. This place is so uncrowded it seems like a good place for a late-night hook-up. I did see an employee taking a shower here one morning too.

Manhattan Beach (Rosecrans) 24 Hour Fitness update: If you like a crowded lockerroom with lots to look at then this is your place. The guys here are mostly working older daddy types. Lots of men stripping off their business clothes and getting into their gym clothes. I've think I've seen more penises here than anywhere else. 9 out of 10 times if you see a hot guy working out on the floor he will be undressing and taking a shower. The locker area is not as roomy as some and with the crowd of guys showering here the experience is like that after a football game with everyone walking around nude. Allthough there are doors on the showers, there is a steamroom in the back which has a glass door where you have a nice view of all the men stepping in and out of the stalls and drying themselves off. WeHo 24 Hour Fitness: I haven't been here in a little over a year. mainly because the parking situation is a joke. Not work the $4.00 for 2 hours parking IMO. I like the layout and the shower area. Where is the 24 Hour Fitness in Santa Barbara? I lived there for years and all I remember was Gold's Gym in Goleta (near Isla Vista) and downtown (near State Street).

24 hr is right on State Street, right across from the mall in a remodeled building. It opened about 18 months ago. they have lots of cameras in there so sex is not an option, But you can always go down to the the adult bookstore, all booths have GH and it takes about 1 minute to have somene sucking on your dick when you put it thru. I got out of work early again today so I went to the 24 Hour Fitness in West Hollywood at about 3:15.
Not real busy but some cute guys working out and by the pool.
I took a shower, then sat in the steamroom and dry sauna then went into the jacuzzi.
It smelled like very strong chlorine but I didn't think anything about it. I was in there about 10 minutes and my skin started feeling very tight and my eyes started watering. I then breathed in and almost swallowed some of the water. I started coughing and couldn't stop. My lungs burned so bad. I have sensitive skin but never had this type of reaction. A guy in the jacuzzi told me this happened to him once and to go shower as the chlorine gets into your skin.
I have been to many other gyms, bath houses, public pools and hotels with pools (including gay resorts) and have never had that happen.
They need to use a weaker solution or put it out of order until it calms down.
