Hey guys -

I'll be in Torrance next week staying at the Marriott. I'll have a rental car and would like to find some good cruise spots near the Marriott or within a reasonable driving distance. There are so many listings in the LA area that is is hard to decipher which are near Torrance.

Looking for places that are somewhat safe. Love public restrooms, parks, etc.

Also looking for attitude-free, bathouses or sex clubs.

Wednesday are their 1/2 price rooms - usually a full-house all day hence Wednesdays your best bet.
Parking lot run by the 1350 directly across the street from the club (couple bucks onto your admission).
Head east from the hotel (like Torrance Blvd or Del Amo Blvd) to a right onto Western Avenue, that to Anaheim Street (left) -Anaheim Street will be after Pacific Coast Highway - think one signal. Club at 510 W. Anaheim on the right, parking lot on your left.
There had been some printable discount coupon on their web site.

A beach changing facility at CABRILLO BEACH with showers which at one time was cruisy. The enterance was secluded but they made another enterance from the main building. Guys used to sunbathe naked in the open quad but signs went up, "No Nude Tanning". Showers still there. I feel it lost its fun with the remodel.

A nude beach at Rancho Palos Verdes - Smuggler's Cove/Inspiration Point (aka: Sacred Beach). Beach is to the south of WAYFARER'S CHAPEL aka: "The Glass Church" - with a paid public parking lot at ABALONE COVE (park there and then hike along Palos Verdes Drive to the beach), that lot slightly north of the chapel. Do an on-line search of the beach names for detailed directions. Most probably Hawthorne Blvd to where it deadends at the coast, then a left onto Palos Verdes Drive South. Keep eyes opened for ABALONE COVE parking on the right with WAYFARER'S CHAPEL on the left slightly further. Road does go from 2 lanes in both directions divided to 1 lane each direction non-divided - beach slightly after where the 1 lane each direction begins.

A YMCA in Torrance - haven't been there to give you a report. Locker rooms/showers can be fun, especially when there is a men's sauna and steamroom. EL CAMINO COLLEGE in Torrance - I used to cruise the men's locker room/showers. 1 in every 12 visits something might happen like a j/o session in the showers but great place to be naked to show-off and to see HOT "student bodies". Showers interesting as can see waist down the guys in the next bank of showers. Start to "lather up" with SoftSoap, guys interested will follow suit and even duck under the shower controls to come into your section. ALONDRA PARK next to the college - some restrooms there had been active at one time. No clue to their status these days.

Redondo Beach one gay bar, THE DOLPHIN at 1995 Artesia Blvd at Green. Hawthorne Blvd north from your hotel, to Artesia Blvd west (a left).

Of course the 1350 CLUB your safest bet ... being a private club (Calif having "Consenting Adults" law without a baths being bothered in 30 years) and with guys going there 'cause they are horny.

Might want to try it out the Sunday evening you arrive using the free pass available on the web site. Go again on Wednesday for their 1/2 price room day if to your liking. Fun place to run around naked at.
