Seriously? Where are they all going? The Pleasures on Federal and Alameda is all latino. (Not that that is a bad thing, I love hot Latin cock!) But lately I'm looking for hot skater types, or business men at lunch, or white scruffy blue collar types. What arcade are they going to? I've tried a bunch of different ones; Sapp Bros, the Crypt, Pleasures on Santa Fe, the Circus. Nothing. Troll Central most times. Anyone have any good tips?

Cruising has changed a lot over the past few years. You and I have both been around for more than a few years, corwalch, so you surely know what I mean.
My guess is that the issue is immediacy. When we get horny, we'd like a hookup right away. In the past that might have meant hours of -- What did we call it? Cruising...see the novels of Jon Rechy for the classic illustration. Today we don't have the patience. It's a global cultural rush, and not limited to sexual satisfaction. Everything's gotta happen right now. Today, I see that the most active cruising -- aside from traditional marketplaces that offer sex on site -- is at internet sites that offer connections before you could even put on your hottest Levi's. Sadly, that's why Cruising for Sex seems less vigorous than it once was, although I think it has valuable resources available nowhere else. Horny guys want to put messages on the web, exchange IMs, and get to orgasm within thirty minutes. So is this break down along ethnic lines? Dunno, but it might be the answer to your question.

That is a very well thought out reply. And I think you have prob hit the nail on the head. Sadly, it's too easy to look someone up online, rather than go out for it. But the Internet sure can't beat the rush of a sideways glance, the half smile, the oh so subtle nod.
