I can't seem to stop reading about this story. As much as I'm appalled at my actions, I've also spent too much time seeking the footage of the suicide, all the while thinking how sick it must be to want to see this. Below is the LA Times story about this kid who announced he was committing suicide on justin.tv the other night, took pills in front of his webcam, laid down and slowly died. The fact I've spent some time looking for the footage (no success) is gross for me. But just as offensive is how this guy was treated by his supposed pals in the chatroom who spent hours and hours watching his death. Some chatters called him a troll while he lay their dying. One of the few who took this serioulsy turned out to be another guy living in, of all places, India. He ended up calling the police on his dad's phone from India.
