Pitty those innocent Mormons caught in a bad PR move! They had no idea that taking away civil rights, making a group second class citizens, would actually make some other citizens upset. Read this crap from the Salt Lake paper and weep for them:

For some this isn't about bad PR. For some it is about waking up one morning to realize you are no longer equal. To realize once again, the partner laying next to you might not legally be married to you if a judge rules the wrong way.

For all those Californians who voted for this thing, especially those of you who are also in vulnerable groups, maybe you should have thought twice about using the ballot to take away rights. That one just might come back to bite you.
