I Miss Craigslist!!!!

God! "Dating apps" can't replace Craigslist. Yeah there's flakes and no responders but the only time flakes are a problem is when guys don't have backup. Which I did sooo wasn't really a problem. I was too spoiled with hard cock pics and "daddy likes" "I want to fuck your ass deep." It was so hot. I took it for granted cause I started that at 19 lol. And I did some panty fetish requests and upped it by wearing bloomer briefs and it worked! But then I got mind fucked and had an identity crisis.

It was still fun and I did more ads up until the end. There's still the adult theater I go to, which thankfully, I still get approached for sex by guys I like. And I started doing more gloryholes. There's nothing online or anywhere. I can't complain tho its not like I'm still 20 or something lol

I'm glad I acted out when I did even though I got feminized through a lot of the encounters through Craiglist and adult theaters. Its permanent now. Craigslist coulda helped manage it.

Try the "missed connections" thread on CL. It still works. Just not as many posts. Banged a horny crossdresser I met through there.

Before Craigslist websites like CFS (and the walled-garden services like CompuServe and AOL which pre-dated the web) were where guys met up. Craigslist became "the place" because, other than a few major sites like CFS, it was widely known and popular in most major cities. It also was more like just walking into a men's room and getting down to business as opposed to the community atmosphere most websites tried to provide.

CFS has always offered both approaches. The regional boards with their want/offer posts, and other boards that provide discussion and support for those who want it. We have been here all along and welcome everyone who longs for the lost convenience of CL.

I have missed connections in my email under 'm4m' lol. I kept all the good cocks and went through them recently and wondered if I should ask if they're still interested. It was a really long time ago too so that's why I'm hesitant. And there's also some hot cocks that I didn't respond to for some reason.

Guys are getting more creative on CL tho. I didn't see any on missed connections but I saw a couple on 'activities' and 'groups'. There was this one guy looking for another guy to workout, hike and "other adventures."

The m4m forum is back! The popular topic there?...... politics! No ads, no sex talk, just politics. There was a bottom with a fantasy of being used by multiple guys or something, and I'm like "I've always wanted to make a dirty old top happy by being his owned sex pig and do things for him that may end up in a future extreme sex story" lol. I'm so glad I got to do the things I did with men when I acted out. I also miss men. MEN! Not 'guys'.

CL was like walking in the mens restroom. Or in my case the adult theater where I drained lots of random mens' loads lol. Forums like CFS is good, but I liked CL because I didn't have to worry about labeling myself or what my mannerisms are. I just put "smooth bottom wanting to suck older bear/muscle cocks" then upload pics as if I was saying "now look at my ass!" And then scroll through replies like I scroll through guys at the adult theater until I find my match lol.

CFS changed everything though. I remember when I first came here.. I immediately doubled-down on my random sexual activities with men. Sex listings alone was so worth it. The first theater listed became my hotspot because its right next to my favorite truckstop and a motel. I left a handful of reviews since lol. There's also a hiking trail where old tops (60+) hang out and approach bottoms for sex that I never left a review for but did have luck.

FWIW, although Keith had originally wanted all those extra Profile fields (mannerisms?) A few years ago I changed it to make most of them optional. I didn't delete them because I was reluctant to delete the info that was there.

At some point the Profiles need to be redone, simpler, also the Registration process.

Infopop,

Very well stated. Prior to CL and the advent of many of the more generalized dating sites the bulletin boards, rags like the Berkeley Barb and other print and special interest sources provided the hook up links. They were harder to access for guys who are flying under cover, were not widely circulated or known but worked. One of the problems with sites like CL and also the big portals like Yahoo, MSN and AOL is people can be anything they want, there is no way to verify if you are talking to someone who is real or who is living in a complete fantasy world, or worse, chatting with cops or bashers in disguise. CFS and sites like it offer a little more veracity. I the market will come back to CFS over time.
