Looking for Friends & Contacts in Panama City & Panama City Beach

I'm relocating to Panama City (or PCB) and am looking to meet new friends, make a few gay 'networking' contacts and maybe run into a playmate or two. "Friends" and social contacts are most important right now, though. If anyone would share any information or advice for a "new resident," e-mail me. Are there any organized gay social groups.... separate from the bar scene, in the area?

I'm relatively familiar with the city & Bay county area. I've been vacationing and visiting family in the area for many years. But I have never been there long enough to establish any gay friends. Would appreciate meeting anyone interested in helping me get acquainted. Am interested in meeting singles, couples, gay or lesbian or bi-guys, younger, older, workout friends (anyone know of a good, cheap, gym?), casual bicyclists, bookworms, computer nerds, beach bois, hair cutters (any recommendations?), piano players who teach on the side, and anybody else. I like all kinds of people.

I'm a pretty laid back guy. As they say, "a regular Jeans-N-TShirt," guy. I'm a professional in business, but away from the office I'm very casual. I prefer socializing with a small group of friends at home; little cocktail and dinner parties, or cookouts on the deck. I'm single and only have my best buddy living with me. That's Bailey, my ten-year-old Beagle-dog! I'm not into the bar scene too much. I like to have a night out once in a while with a friend or two. Hate to go to the bars alone.
