Welcome, Equality marchers.

While you're here, keep in mind two very important things:

1) The approximately 600,000 residents of the District of Columbia are denied a voice in the US House of Representatives and Senate.

2) Even though we supposedly have "Home Rule," all laws passed by the residents of the District must be reviewed and receive final approval by Congress. Congress can override any decision of the taxpaying citizens of the District and/or disrupt the city's funding at any time.

Please take the time when you are finished partying in our city to contact your Congressperson and Senators on Tuesday morning and tell them to give the residents of DC the same right to representation that every other American has.

Oh, how many of you will be staying after Monday to actually meet with your legislators about making equality for all a reality?

I live here in Arlington and there are not any gloryholes here that I am aware of. They were torn down to make room for the new stadium.
