I will be passing through Chicago next week and will need some head by the time i get there! So what's the best bathouse in Chicago? I've been to the Steamworks but hear the steam/sauna's down for repairs. What is the best alternative? Thanks for any help and if anyone has any other suggestions for a weary traveller as far as adult bookstores or cruisy parks close to I-80 please let me know.

I thought Man's Country was on Clark. I could be wrong. It was quite a few years ago since I was there. Just brousing it with a friend who worked at the Bistro II. He used to be a dancer there with the Chicago Meatpackers.
Now it is called the "Eagle" I believe. I was just brousing the place. Never got any action there and I was not looking for it at the time. That was the only place I had been to in chicago.
always nervous when I go to places like that. or even book stores. Dont know why, but I am.

Even though the steam/sauna's down for remodeling, Steamworks remains the best bath house in Chicago. Don't think that just because the steam room is down that you should go elsewhere. Actually, the sauna on the 3rd floor remains open. Go to Steamworks and have fun!
