Cinematic Tricks
A partial reason for this road trip is the filming of my first porn flick (OK, so I know the lawyers would rather I not say 'porn'). Cruisemaster Road Trip: Volume 1 is not about me, but it is about some of the hot men I encounter on this trip. That is men I convince to perform for my camera. I've already filmed segments in Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC, and another segment in Philadelphia. I had no idea if I could pull this off, but I'm honestly very pleased with the footage I've viewed thus far. Amazing what one person can do with a quality digital camera, a high degree of determination, and years of thinking how I could do this better than the person who did the awful job I'd rented for the evening. Of course once I see the final product I may be a bit more humble. I saw my first porn flick while I was living in Charleston, South Carolina -- just a wee lad of 20 years. I was roommates with this fellow who must have been my present age and he owned one of those old home movie projectors and a box of fuzzy old reels. One night he let me thread the reels with my then 17 year-old buddy and I remember being struck by the same thing that impresses me even now: watching someone having sex on command for the camera is an amazing turn-on. I have spent endless hours watching videos and fantasizing what models must have been thinking about as they licked, sucked, grinned, pouted, and plunged for the camera. What was Matt Ramsey contemplating as he took Rick Donavan's huge dick on a school desk? How does one prepare ones-self to go down on such a big tool while others watch and the camera hovers just inches away from your asshole? Is Chad Knight thinking about his wife when he gets plowed by Mike Nichols whose cock actually appears to be honestly huge -- not inflated by camera tricks and 4 foot tall models? These are the things I've thought about when watching the king of porn William Higgins, or flipped through the latest 'oh too perfect' video put out by Falcon. And those thoughts have always made me horny. It isn't hard to imagine that a major fantasy for me has become watching a porn flick being made. I tried. Oh, did I try to get invited onto a set. But it never happened in spite of close friendships with the likes of Scott O'Hara whom I met about the time his Falcon flick, The Other Side of Aspen II, was being released. I watched it the first time on his Beta machine in his Haight-Ashbury apartment in San Francisco. And minutes after we finished watching the film, I was to learn what a truly major bottom Scott really was even with that huge dick of his. For the last several years I guess you could say I contrived ways to pretend I was on a film set by hosting a series of orgies in San Francisco and Provincetown. In fact, Scott was at my first orgy which was given in his apartment. Chris Burns showed up and we all got a free show when Scott fisted the 'Chris Burn ass' that seemingly could find no object too big to handle. At the orgies, I could watch all I wanted, and play as well, and that was a decent way to help fulfill my desires. But only partially. The camera was missing until a business partner and I started filming orgies we would host and then broadcasting them on the World Wide Web (click here for m4morgy.com). I'd been helping with the amateur filming of the orgies for just over a year when I decided it was time to test myself and see if I couldn't make a 'professional' film. Not that I fully understand what makes one film professional and another amateur, but my intention is to produce a low-budget, yet really hot porn flick using men I've met at cruisingforsex.com who want to perform for the camera. Surprisingly, I've got more men wanting to perform for my camera than I can afford. My next video segments are set for Toronto and Chicago later this summer. With any luck, I'll be finished editing before the end of October. And yes, I am enjoying this. I have a perpetual hard-on whenever I'm filming these guys. I make no promises, however, about getting them posted regularly. This is a real road trip and sometimes my 'field research' gets in the way of writing down what I discover along the road.] [This message has been edited by Keith (edited July 24, 2000).] |
