Gay friendly hotel in Tijuana?
 

Amazingly, I don't know of one, nor does the Internet have any actual information.

Tijuana is filled with motels that are gay-friendly if you want a place to take a trick (you must arrive with the guy and in a car and cannot leave for any reason until you want to leave permanently --or else pay a re-entry fee) You can usually stay all night except during busy weekends when they limit you to 5-7 hours. All have two channels of porno in addition to several normal TV channels.
My favorite is La Mansion on the Via Rapida not far from Sams Club. It is very clean, new, elegantly appointed. You pay $38 at the entry, drive to the room number you are given, close the garage door and walk upstairs to your room.
No one reacts when you bring a man with you.
Several others are cheaper and farther away. But you avoid all the sleazy places and the price isn't prohibitive.

I have heard that the moteles de paseo sometimes don't let gay couples in. Anyway, I don't take my car down to TJ, so the question remains, are there any gay friendly hotels down there, near the action, where I can keep my stuff, and invite a friend?

Hotel San Nicolas...Ave Madero and Calle Segunda...about 30 dollars a night, safe, color TV, hot water....the place is gay-owned and on the same block as a gay bar called Bobis.
