Is this place still open, I googled it and got a story about a raid in 2006. Then I go to the webpage and it sez 3/31/08 closed. If open is it still a gay sex 'bathhouse/club' or is it really a gym. If I do a street view of google maps (dunno how old it is) it shows cars in the parking lot. Any latest news on current status of this place?

Everything you read is true. There was a raid (due to the fact that they were serving beer witout a license); and the gym closed its doors for good at the end of March. This is the "official" notice provided by the owner:

To the Members and Friends of Pride Gym 3/19/08

Due to an abrupt change in attitude, terms and conditions by the Landlord, the gym space is no longer useable nor economic.

And in frustration the new management ... have resigned as Officers.

Regretfully, Pride Gym will be closing at the end of this month. Thanks for your eleven years of support.

Everything will be sold to the bare walls—just make an offer or enter a silent auction bid.

Any prepaid tans should be used. Any dues already paid up past 4/1/08 will be adjusted and refunded.

The gym will be open normal hours thru 3/30/08.

There doesn't appear to be any equivalent alternative in the offing in the foreseeable future. :-(

It was always a gym; Dave then started opening it after hours for parties, initially once a month or so, and, at the end, every week on Fridays and Saturdays. After the raid, of course, beer was no longer available.

Google maps tend to be fair old; for example, the current "street view" of my house shows snow on the ground.
