I keep seeing in personal ads:

I'm a "Chill" guy, what does that mean.

Also, suddenly EVERYBODY is wearing a baseball cap with a carefully formed deep arc in the bill, why? It's like some secret handshake or a me too fashion statement.

Any enlightening input would be appreciated.

Well I have since learned "chill" means "laid back" all of these seem synonymous with "Down to earth." None of which make sense to me.

The hat's are known as "Trucker-style" caps. As a curiosity, on a recent trip to Palm Springs, I noticed on the two lane highway in 6 hours, about THREE truckers wearing these hats driving in a semi. The preponderance of them were worn by males driving cars I suspect they hoped one day would be featured on Pimp-my-Ride.....Hmmmmmmmmm.
