I use em all the time, My first one was a big hulking piece of steel but that's a real bitch to get on and off, so I switched to the stretchable rubber ones, I find I can use a smaller sized one and stretch it apart to put it on and remove it. I've always feared the snap on ones cuz I don't want to get pinched trying to make it tight. The stretchy one come in many sizes and colors to, & they're quite inexpensive.
